And then there were 10 ... Steele cops a plea

Former Assemblyman Alfred Steele of Paterson pleaded guilty this afternoon to taking $15,000 in bribes, according to a breaking story posted this evening on the Ledger website. Read more here.

That makes him the first of the eleven to go down.

Assemblyman's rise and fall

Hmm...this makes me wonder. Has Jerry Green who recieved $50,000 a year from Alman Group said who their clients were so that we can find out if any of this money constituted a "bribe"? Has the city council and the mayor looked into it? I smell collusion and a coverup.
