Assignments in my composition book -- already!

Plainfield schools start up again on Thursday.

For those of us whose schooling never finishes, today -- after the Labor Day fun -- is back-to-school day.

And I find my marbled composition book has a few assignments already penciled in --
  • Budget: Will the Administration make a reasonable proposal? How will the Council cut it back?
  • Elections: Storch and Dowe in Ward 2; Carter need not break a sweat
  • Administration: Will it ever solve the communications puzzle?
  • Mayor Robinson-Briggs: Perpetual protection?
  • Schools: What will QSAC's state intervention mean?
  • Development: Probe why Plainfield realtors are being iced out
  • Redevelopment: Will it ever happen given the market turmoil?
Oh yes, and an essay on how I spent my summer. 250 words.
