Magic 8 Ball declines to help. |
It appeared on last week's agenda-setting session as a reserved space.
When Councilor Rivers asked what that meant, Council President Williams explained that the Finance Committee was to meet on Wednesday (May 3), and if there were no amendments to be suggested as a result of the CBAC report, it would go on the May 8 for adoption.
The Citizens Budget Advisory Committee's very thorough report, made verbally to the Council last Monday, is now available on the city's website (see here).
With only a handful of resolutions not on the consent agenda, a short meeting is suggested. However, this is the "silly season" and there is no knowing what will come up during the meeting.
I'll be consulting my Magic 8 Ball.
