City Council will meet in a special session tonight to adopt Plainfield's 2016 budget. The meeting, per the notice above, is set for 7:00 PM at the Plainfield Senior Center, 400 East Front Street.
One additional item has been added to be taken up, a name change in the ownership of the South Avenue Gateway project. According to a source, it is a time-sensitive issue and could not wait to be taken up at the June business meeting.
All are welcome at the meeting tonight, but please be mindful not to park in tenant spaces if you use the East Second Street lot behind the building. Parking is also available on the street.
