Plainfield's only T&F sanctioned 5K. |
The 4th Annual Historic Queen City Walk/Run for Life takes place this Saturday, October 11.
This USA Track & Field sanctioned event follows a route that takes runners and walkers through sections of the city filled with historic associations.
Start time is 9:00 AM at City Hall, 515 Watchung Avenue. If you have not already registered, show up by 8:30 AM to take care of that. Entry fees on day of race are $25 for the 5K, and $10 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. All running/walking levels are welcome.
There will be several categories, with cash awards, as well as a Lollipop Run for the little ones.
Proceeds benefit youth and senior citizen programs.
