Obama Jazz Fest, PMUA Fair, HAP Flea Market today

PMUA Environmental Fair

The annual environmental affair takes place today from 11 AM to 3 PM in Library Park. Free BBQ, entertaining and educational exhibits, children's activities, music and  more. This year featuring a VIP Tent for Seniors with bingo, checkers, dominoes, card games, Zumba lessons and more. (Rain date: September 22.)
Obama Jazz Fest

A special indoor/outdoor event of jazz and great food to benefit the re-election of President Barack Obama. Featuring Stephen Fuller and the Quintet plus invited guests. Silent auction, specialty vendors and artists. Catering by Martin Little. From 4 PM to 8 PM at The Castle, 900 Park Avenue (corner of West 9th Street). Donation: $75.
Housing Authority Flea Market

The Housing Authority and the Richmond Towers Resident Association offer a Flea Market today from 9 AM to 2 PM at the 510 East Front Street building. Be sure to check out the offerings of jewelry, collectibles, knick knacks, clothing and more. (Rain date: September 22.)

2:10pm and I just read about this HAP flea market. Were there posters promoting this? A friend's nursing home had signs out for a month announcing their Sept 8 flea market. Guess which one got my business?
