Solaris takes a slap at Mayor Sharon

Solaris Health System, tired of waiting on Plainfield Mayor Sharon (I'll-Get-Back-To-You) Robinson-Briggs to actually get back to them, and alarmed that misinformation about the provision of an ambulance for the Plainfield Rescue Squad might be spread, wrote to the Council, the Mayor and Assemblyman Green on February 19.

I have put a PDF copy of the letter online (see here), and it is embedded below. To print a copy, click on the 'iPAPER' icon above the letterhead and select 'print'.

Dan - I will save the Mayor and Mayor Jerry from having one of their cronies responding in your blog about this. It's the fault of the New Democrats in Plainfield, it's Solaris' fault or it George Bush's fault. There. Nothing needs to be brought up about Jerry & Sharon dragging their feet or doing nothing at all. This is proof positive presented by you who is truly at fault here. This is a sad state of affairs that the City of Plainfield now finds itself in. Like beggars to the masses we go claiming to need help, and everytime it's being given Jerry & Sharon are there to slap it out of our hands. They are probably working on a super secret plan to sell the hospital to an as yet unnamed buyer who is going to save the day.

Truth is stranger than fiction as you just could not dream of such ineptitude by the City. Just another incredible episode of gross incompetence by this administration.

After 30 years of proudly responding to friend and work associates' "You live WHERE?" I feel that the rug has been pulled out from under me.
I have been undermined by my city administration. This is the last straw.
Do you think "Somewhere in westerm Union County" will do?

So basically Dan, you prove the point of Solaris not fulfilling their agreement on their verbal commitments..

You do it by exposing their letter.

Good work.. one of the first times I've seen this blog shed light on truth.. too badd you have the wrong intention

You also shed light on the numbskull priorities of Solaris, where they ask ALL parties to drop the lawsuit so that they can provide the greviances asked by the City, State, and residents.

Talk about throwing your cronies under a MacTruck Dan.

Absurd - The Mayor is suck a train wreck! Irresponsible, unprofessional - I better just stop there cause my blood is boiling dur to the actions, or should I say non-actions of this Mayor.

Dan,

What is going on here? Why isn't the mayor being responsive? Why hasn't Council President Burney said anything about this? I am angry at Solaris as much as anyone, but the administration is making a bad situation worse and opening us up to even more liability if someone dies because they are dragging their feet. This woman expects to be reelected as mayor?? When I took your poll about the assemblyman throwing her "uder the bus," I voted no, because I couldn't imagine him as a strong supporter doing that to her. Now I think he has to, because she is an unmitigated disaster. But who will replace her? Another puppet or Green supporter? As we have heard before, follow the money. Who are Green's contributors? I would bet that whoever it is that he will get to replace the mayor has given him money for reelection, which means they support him and her and their initiatives and cronies, which have driven the town into the ground.
